The Trident True Cut Guillotine Shearing Machine is a heavy-duty hydraulic guillotine designed for accurate, reliable, and high-quality plate cutting.

Unlike standard swing beam shears, the True Cut guillotine design allows adjustment of both the blade clearance and cutting angle, making it especially suitable for thicker plate cutting applications, including material above 13mm.

Built with a rigid welded frame, CNC control options, and high-quality hydraulic components, the Trident True Cut range offers an excellent balance of cutting performance, durability, and value.

Heavy-Duty Machine Structure

The IMS True Cut is built with a fully welded box-type frame integrated with the workbench. This design provides excellent rigidity and helps counterbalance the torque load created during the shearing process.

The vertical linear blade movement relative to the lower blade helps reduce material distortion and improves cutting straightness, especially when processing thicker plate.

CNC Control System

The machine can be equipped with a Delem DAC360T touch screen CNC controller, offering advanced control of:

  • Backgauge positioning
  • Cutting angle adjustment
  • Blade gap adjustment
  • Cutting length and stroke control

For simpler applications, the E21S digital display controller is also available as an economical option.

Hydraulic System

The IMS True Cut can be fitted with Rexroth hydraulic valve components for smooth, stable, and reliable hydraulic performance.

The hydraulic system includes oil pressure overload protection and real-time pressure monitoring to support long-term machine reliability and safe operation.

Motor & Electrical Components

High-performance motor options are available, including Siemens or Wannan, depending on the machine configuration.

High-quality electrical components are used to provide stable operation, durability, and long service life.

Feeding & Safety

The feed opening is designed for safe and practical operation. The minimum feeding height is equal to the sheet thickness, while the maximum feeding height is generally sheet thickness plus 20–25mm.

Front fencing, side guards, and optional rear light curtain protection help improve operator safety and meet modern workshop requirements.

Cutting Line Illumination

A light alignment system assists the operator with accurate material positioning and cutting line visibility, reducing the need for manual marking and improving cutting efficiency.

Backgauge & Rear Support

The machine is equipped with a strong backgauge system for accurate sheet positioning. Optional pneumatic rear sheet support is available to assist with thin or wide sheets, helping improve cut accuracy and surface finish.

Motorised Cutting Angle Adjustment

The motorised cutting angle adjustment system allows the shearing angle to be adjusted automatically according to the material thickness, reducing manual setup time and improving cutting quality.

Lubrication & Cooling

Manual or automatic lubrication options are available for easier maintenance.

A hydraulic oil cooling system can also be fitted for applications where the machine is required to operate for extended periods or in higher ambient temperature environments.
