Technomark GX Small Laser Marking Station
Compact Class 1 fibre laser station for the workbench
- 20 or 30 W fibre
- Max. Window 140 x 140 mm
The Technomark GX Small is a compact Class 1 fibre laser marking station for the workbench. Parts are loaded through an L-shaped door onto a 325 x 390 mm base plate and marked inside the enclosure, with a door interlock and laser-protective viewing window.
A 20 W or 30 W source marks text, serial numbers, logos, barcodes and Datamatrix codes on metals and plastics, through a 100 x 100 or 140 x 140 mm window. A motorised column sets the head height from a removable remote, and the software imports marking data from CSV or an SQL database.
Key features
Benchtop laser station
The station measures 500 x 582 x 712 mm with the controller fitted and weighs 29 kg, so it sits on a standard workbench. Top handles allow it to be moved, and the controller can be mounted on the station or up to 3 m away.
L-shaped door
The manual door opens 347 mm across the front and 210 mm down the side onto a 325 x 390 mm loading area. Parts are loaded from whichever side suits them, and a door interlock stops the laser whenever the door is open.
Motorised Z axis and remote control
A motorised column gives up to 200 mm of head travel with the 160 mm lens and 85 mm with the 254 mm lens. The removable remote sets head height and speed, starts and stops marking and switches the internal lighting.
Marking head and two windows
The aluminium head is supplied with a 160 mm lens for a 100 x 100 mm window or a 254 mm lens for a 140 x 140 mm window. A cross laser pointer sets the focal distance quickly and accurately for each part.
Marking software
Jobs combine text, serial numbers, logos, 1D barcodes, Datamatrix codes, shapes and images, with supervisor and user profiles and a marking history. A test mode trials marking parameters before a production run.
Read and Verify option
An optional camera reads each 1D or 2D code after marking and grades it against a set minimum quality level. Unreadable marks are caught at the station rather than further down the line.
Network and data connection
The station runs from a PC on the same network or stand-alone over Ethernet TCP/IP, with RS232 slave control. Optional licences add Ethernet/IP or Profinet control and marking data import from an SQL or CSV database.
