The Technomark GX Mate is a portable 20 W fibre laser marker. The 2.9 kg head is taken to the part, so heavy, bulky or fixed components are marked where they sit rather than carried to a bench laser station.
An air seal at the support nose confirms the head is seated on the surface before marking can start. Text, serial numbers, logos, barcodes, QR and Datamatrix codes are marked from the software, with data imported from CSV or an SQL database.
Key features
Portable marking head
The 2.9 kg head is carried to the part on a 3 m hose and held by two handles, with the controller on an optional transport cart. Heavy, bulky and fixed parts are marked in place instead of being moved to a bench laser.
Air seal contact check
Air is pushed through the head to create a slight overpressure at the contact area, and marking is enabled only when the pressure indicator confirms a seal against the surface. The laser cannot start until the head is seated correctly on the part.
Interchangeable support nose
The support nose sets the focal distance and conforms to the workpiece, and is changed to suit the part, with custom noses available. Marks stay in focus without manual adjustment.
Two standard marking windows
Marking windows of 25 x 25 mm and 100 x 30 mm are standard, with 60 x 25 mm and 60 x 10 mm available as options. The window is matched to the mark, from a small Datamatrix code to a long line of text.
Marking software
Text, serial numbers, time stamps, logos, barcodes, QR and Datamatrix codes are laid out straight, angled, radial or mirrored. Data is imported from CSV or an SQL database, with supervisor and user profiles and a connection to the company network.
