The Technomark Easy is a portable dot peen marker with a wireless marking head and a separate 10-inch touchscreen controller. The head works up to 10 m from the controller, so medium, large and heavy parts are marked where they sit, and several marking areas can be set up around the workshop.

Easy 60 has a 60 x 30 mm window and Easy 120 a 120 x 60 mm window, and both mark parts up to 63 HRC. The head runs on battery, mains or plug-in hybrid power, and the controller holds the marking files, data import and a predictive maintenance module.

Key features

Wireless head and controller

The head connects to the controller over a secure Wi-Fi link at up to 10 m, with no cable between them. The operator takes the head to the part while the files and settings stay at the controller.

Energy select

The head runs on its 22 V lithium-ion battery for light to deep marking, on mains power for deep marking in heavy use, or in plug-in hybrid mode. Marking continues when the battery runs low.

10-inch controller

Marks are set up in three clicks on a 10-inch tempered glass touch screen, with operator, supervisor and administrator modes. The controller runs on 220 V, connects by Ethernet and has 3 USB ports for a keyboard, 1D and 2D code reader or USB stick.

Predictive maintenance

A predictive maintenance module on the controller signals service needs before they cause a stoppage, and RFID tags control user access and pair heads to the controller. Maintenance is planned rather than reactive.

5-in-1 support foot

The support foot positions the head on flat parts and cylinders, holds magnetically and resists slipping. Marks stay square and evenly struck without a fixture.

Controller holders

The controller sits in a Light bench holder, an Advanced bench station that also parks and charges the head, or a Premium floor-standing workstation with a code reader. Each keeps the controller and head together at the marking point.
