Titan WADG Electric Servo Press Brake
Servo-electric press brake with no hydraulics, 10 to 160 tonnes
- Fully electric
- Dual ball screw
- Closed-loop ram
- Multi-axis backgauge
The Titan WADG is a fully electric press brake. Servo motors drive the ram through dual ball screws with linear scale feedback on Y1 and Y2, and there is no hydraulic power unit. The range runs from 10 t x 500 mm to 160 t x 3200 mm, supplied with the Delem DA-53TX controller as standard.
It suits precision sheet metal, enclosures and repeat production in thin and medium gauge, with no oil to heat, change or leak and energy use up to 70 percent below a hydraulic machine. Light curtains are supplied as standard.
Key features
Servo-electric ram drive
Servo motors drive the ram through dual ball screws, with linear scale feedback on Y1 and Y2 for repeatability of ±0.005 mm. There is no pump, valve block or oil to maintain, and energy use is up to 70 percent lower than a hydraulic machine.
Frame and machined guides
The frame and machined guides set the relationship between drive, ram and worktable. Force, working length and tool loading are reviewed together so the machine holds accuracy across its rated range.
Motor-driven crowning
Motorised crowning compensates for deflection at the selected bend length. Long parts hold their angle across the full bend.
Delem DA-53TX controller
The Delem DA-53TX is supplied as standard and coordinates the bend program, ram and backgauge positions. Higher Delem controllers, angle measurement and robot interfaces are available as options.
Servo backgauge
X and R servo axes position the backgauge for each bend, with X travel of 400 to 500 mm on most models. The finger arrangement is set for the parts being run.
Tooling and clamping
Tool profiles and clamping are selected for the parts and changeover method. Segmented tooling covers short flanges, boxes and full-length bends.
Front support arms
Front support arms carry the sheet as it is formed, so the operator guides the part rather than holding its weight. Parts are turned and positioned more consistently between bends.
More features
- Automatic grease lubrication of the ball screws
- Self-lubricating rectangular ram guides
- Front support arms on dual linear guides
Options
- Delem DA-58T, DA-66T or DA-69T controller
- Angle measurement
- Robot interface
- Additional backgauge axes
- Pneumatic tool clamping
- Front sheet followers
- Wireless foot pedal
- Tooling packages
