What OMSG build

OMSG have built shot blasting and shot peening machines at Villa Cortese, near Milan, since 1961, and in 2017 added Carlo Banfi, an Italian blasting maker dating back to 1938.

For steel construction and fabrication that means roller conveyor machines that blast beams, sections and plate to paint-ready condition in one pass, vertical plate blasters, and tunnel machines for large welded fabrications.

The same factory builds hook, carousel, tumble, mesh belt and continuous flow machines for foundries, forging shops, galvanisers and aluminium extruders. More than half of what they build is designed around a specific part or production line rather than taken from a catalogue.

OMSG

Why OMSG

Italian-built blasting machines, from a single beam line blaster to a complete surface treatment plant.

Made for structural steel

Roller conveyor blasters take beams, sections and plate straight off the line and leave them clean to ISO 8501-1 and ready to prime, without hand blasting or grinding.

The full range, one maker

Roller conveyor, tunnel, plate, hook, carousel, tumble and continuous flow machines, so the right type exists for the part rather than the nearest compromise.

Built around the job

More than half of OMSG production is made to order, with the chamber, wheels and handling sized to the work and the line it sits in.

Sixty years of blasting

Over 5,500 machines installed in 86 countries since 1961, ISO 9001 certified and CE marked, with spare parts held for the long term.

What are you blasting, and how much of it?

Tell us the parts or sections, the largest size, the finish you need and the volume. That decides the machine type, the conveyor width and the number of wheels.
