The Titan WAD Heavy-Duty is the heavy-duty build of the Titan WAD, with a reinforced frame, ram and worktable, multi-cylinder electro-hydraulic synchronisation, motor-driven crowning and Delem CNC control as standard. The range runs from 400 t x 4000 mm to 1200 t x 8000 mm, with open heights up to 920 mm.

It suits structural, transport, mining and plate fabricators bending thick or long plate, where the foundation, tooling and part handling are engineered with the machine. Larger custom builds are available on request.

Reinforced frame and worktable

The frame, ram and worktable are sized for the full load case, stress relieved and machined as one assembly. Tooling and guide references stay true under the force of bending thick plate over long lengths.

Cylinder layout by model

Cylinder count and position are set by tonnage and length, with the hydraulic system and ram control coordinating every cylinder. Models from 800 t use twin main servo motors to hold speed under load.

Long-travel backgauge

A 980 mm X axis and 200 mm R axis reference wide flanges and deep parts. The finger layout is chosen for the bend sequence on heavy plate.

Motor-driven crowning

Motorised crowning compensates for worktable deflection along the full length. Long, heavy bends hold their angle from end to end without shimming.

Support for long and heavy parts

Front support arms and lifting equipment are specified to the part weight and length. Heavy plate is carried through the bend rather than held by the operator.

Tooling rated for line load

Punches and dies are rated for the force over the actual bend length, not just the machine tonnage. Tooling is selected from the material, thickness and V-opening at quotation.

Bending force is stated in tonnes. Approach speed is 80 mm/s on all models; X axis travel is 980 mm and R axis 200 mm. Models from 800 t use twin main servo motors. Builds above 1200 t, including 3000 t x 9000 mm, are engineered to order. Weights are indicative. Light curtains are supplied as standard.
