Kotec lift and carry carts transfer long material onto and off roller tables. Each cart lifts the material hydraulically by approximately 200 to 250 mm, clear of the vertical alignment rollers and other obstructions, travels electrically along floor-mounted rails, then lowers it into position.
Material is lifted and carried rather than dragged across steel, so the system runs quietly, reduces wear and needs little maintenance. It is used to load and unload bandsaws, beam lines and other long-product equipment. The carts work with Kotec Roller Tables, and the complete arrangement is shown on Kotec Material Handling Line Systems.

1. Lift
The cart raises the material hydraulically by approximately 200 to 250 mm. That clears the vertical alignment rollers and other obstructions on the table.
2. Travel
The cart travels electrically along floor-mounted rails, carrying the material across the line. Several carts work together along the length of the material.
3. Lower into Position
The cart lowers the material onto the infeed table or the unloading area. Nothing is dragged across steel, so there is less wear on the material, the tables and the cart.
Standard and Slim Carts
Standard carts, approximately 500 to 600 mm wide, are used to load the infeed. Slim carts are used on the outfeed and fit tightly between adjoining roller tables. The gap between tables stays small, so shorter pieces transfer across easily and the outfeed does not bottleneck.
Quiet, Low-Maintenance Operation
Lifting and carrying instead of dragging keeps noise down and avoids the wear that comes from steel sliding on steel. There is little to adjust or replace.
Joystick Control
The operator runs the carts from a standalone operation box with power and overload lamps and a forward and back joystick.
Rail Base Drawings Supplied
Rails are supplied, with drawings of the rail base and pit so the foundation can be prepared locally before installation.
