Cosen V / AV Vertical Mitre Bandsaw

The Cosen V and AV Series are vertical bandsaws with a tilt frame that mitres to 60 degrees left and right, for double-mitre cutting of beam, channel and large sections. Material lies on a fixed work bed while the blade cuts vertically, and the frame cants 0 to 5 degrees forward to suit the section shape.
The V-2026NC and V-2228NC are semi-automatic. The AV-2026NC and AV-2228NC add a hydraulic tilt-frame head and servo feeding, so a cut list runs automatically once loaded. Capacity at 90 degrees is 510 x 660 mm on the 2026 models and 560 x 712 mm on the 2228 models.
Key features
Tilt-frame double mitre
The saw frame tilts to any angle from 60 degrees left to 60 degrees right, so double mitres are cut without turning the section on the bed.
0 to 5 degree blade cant
The frame cants forward up to 5 degrees so the blade enters beam and channel progressively rather than square on. Capacity reduces slightly at full cant.
Vertical cutting on a fixed bed
Material lies flat on a fixed work bed while the blade cuts vertically, so long and heavy sections are not lifted or swung for each angle.
Servo feeding on AV models
The AV-2026NC and AV-2228NC feed material by servo to programmed lengths and set the mitre with a hydraulic tilt-frame head, so a cut list runs automatically once loaded.
