Toptec PFG Hydraulic Surface Grinders
Hydraulic saddle-type surface grinders with automatic cross feed, 200 x 450 to 400 x 800 mm tables

The Toptec PFG-AH Series are saddle-type surface grinders with hydraulic table travel and automatic cross feed, for flat grinding of toolroom parts, dies and production components. Table sizes run from 200 x 450 mm on the PFG-2045AH to 400 x 800 mm on the PFG-D4080AH.
The spindle runs in class P4 angular contact bearings in a sealed cartridge, and the X and Z slideways are coated with Turcite-B. The vertical axis is fed by handwheel as standard, with an NC auto down feed system available as an option for three-axis automatic grinding.
Key features
Stress-relieved cast iron structure
The major parts are high-grade cast iron, stress relieved before final machining. Rigidity and stability are built into the structure, so grinding accuracy holds over a long service life.
Cartridge spindle with P4 bearings
The spindle runs in class P4 high-precision angular contact bearings in a sealed, lubricated cartridge, with run-out held within 2 microns. Surface finish and flatness stay consistent, and the sealed cartridge gives a long working life.
Turcite-B coated slideways
The X and Z axis slideways are coated with Turcite-B, and the table runs on a V and flat way. Table movement stays smooth at low speed and the slideways keep their accuracy over the long term.
Hydraulic table with automatic cross feed
The table is driven hydraulically at 5 to 25 m/min and the saddle cross feeds automatically at a set increment, with handwheels on the cross and vertical axes. The operator sets the depth and cross increment and the machine works across the surface on its own.
